Experience report detailing the development of a 3D animation in Libras, emphasizing visual communication and accessibility.
This experience report presents the development process of a 3D animation focused on representing a conversation in Brazilian Sign Language, known as Libras, using Blender 3.6.5. The project was created with the objective of applying concepts studied in the Computer Graphics course, such as scene modeling, rigging with bones, keyframe animation, and inverse kinematics, while connecting these technical concepts to a social theme. During the project development, the group aimed to represent a simple interaction between two people, highlighting the importance of visual communication and the inclusion of deaf people. The process involved choosing the theme, preparing the scene, organizing the characters, applying skeletal structures, creating movements, and rendering the final animation. This experience made it possible to better understand how 3D animation can be used not only as a visual resource, but also as a tool for awareness and appreciation of communicational accessibility.
