The landscape of the celebrities' memorial hall is a kind of public cultural landscape with commemorative and practical characteristics. It conveys celebrities' spirit and cultural connotation on the basis of commemorative architecture, core of the celebrities' life stories, carrier of landscape's elements, and goal of human-nature interaction and symbiosis, creating commemorative spatial atmosphere through landscape situation. On the establishment of the comprehensive assessment criteria for the environmental landscape of the celebrities' memorial hall, we could evaluate the landscape in the aspects of nature and ecology, environment and aesthetics, history and humanities. In this study, we use the assessment criteria to the application of landscape design of Beijing Lu Xun Museum, and discuss the visual way of conveying the double attribute of material and spirit. Therefore, we reflect on the landscape design strategies such as commemorative space construction, environmental interpretation and humanization design.
