Position paper proposes boundary tension as an alternative explanation for galaxy dynamics, acknowledging limitations.
This preprint proposes a reframing of the dark-matter effect at the disk-galaxy scale within the Boundary Information Theory (BIT) framework. BIT does not claim to disprove dark matter. It asks whether the residual dynamical effect attributed to dark matter halos may be partially reformulated as boundary tension arising from the morphological lattice of the galaxy. Three directional signals are reported from the BIT Galaxy Project pilot study. Limitations including the Bullet Cluster and CMB peaks are explicitly acknowledged. This is a position paper, not a peer-reviewed result.
