Geophysical survey assesses magnetic disturbances in agricultural land, indicating historical activities.
An area of 1.5ha was surveyed using two dual sensor Bartington Instruments Grad 601-2 fluxgate gradiometers mounted upon a Bartington non-magnetic cart. A large amount of magnetic disturbance and magnetic debris was detected by the geophysical survey indicating disturbance in these areas. There is also evidence of possible ridge and furrow agricultural activity as well as a possible boundary ditch.
