Demonstrates enhanced visitor engagement through a feedback system in museum interactive media, indicating improved learning outcomes.
Immediate feedback on learning outcomes can significantly enhance learners' motivation and efficiency. Museum interactive media set up the interactive command sender to guide the visitor to issue manipulation behaviours, input cognitive views, express emotional attitudes, and provide immediate feedback on different dimensions of participation elements such as response, supplementation, and judgment, thus becoming an important feedback port for learning in museums. However, the existing interactive media in museums often lack diverse and systematic feedback, which makes its effectiveness doubtful, the use of the scene is limited, and the popularity of the visitor decreases. The feedback system of interactive media based on visitors' engagement dimensions, learning objectives and pathways, synergistically links three types of feedback: behavioral, cognitive and emotional, and comprehensively mobilizes the visitor's behavioral, cognitive and emotional participation and provides feedback on the results of manipulation, cognitive effectiveness, and value judgement. In this way, exhibition information, shapes values, enriches visitor experience and achieves multi-dimensional learning objectives. The construction of behavioral, cognitive, and emotional dialogues between visitors and machines also transforms interactive media from an information integration tool and an attraction tool to a dialogue tool that serves the transformation trend of museums and helps museums to become forums that accommodate multiple voices.
