This article introduces the special issue ‘How does sport repair injustice (or not)?’, which contains seven papers. Vid Kučko and Nikša Sviličić present a refined version of the Challenge System in football. Nir Eisikovits and Alec Stubbs argue against the use of VAR in football. Anna di Giandomenico asks whether justice in sport is defective. Jonas Drogseth Christensen, Mike McNamee, Yves Vanlandewijckd, and Sigmund Loland look at the normative foundation of Paralympic classification. Jim Parry and Cesar Torres tackle the issue of diving in football. Carwyn Jones, Ian Gardner and Daniel Milton reflect on the moral and aesthetic ‘health’ of rugby union.
