Case report highlights hepatic sarcoidosis presenting with pruritus and esophageal varices, emphasizing follow-up care.
Sarcoidosis is a granulomatous disease that affects multiple organs, commonly the liver, with manifestations from asymptomatic disease to cirrhosis and liver failure. A 43‐year‐old male presented with generalized pruritus. Liver biopsy demonstrated findings consistent with sarcoidosis, and treatment was initiated. We emphasize timely follow‐up in hepatic sarcoidosis, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
