Randomized trial evaluates human orchestration of AI-driven systems using a tensor framework, indicating potential improvements.
Working paper v3.1 formalizing Layer 2 (L2) of the Cognitive Abstraction Layers (CAL) architecture. L2 contributes the tensor framework T[d,i,j,k], the Natural Cognitive Frontier (NCF) model of human orchestration, and a between-subjects RCT design (n=40) targeting CHI 2027. The v3.1 status note records downstream validation: L3's characterization closed and L4's gate-C met; no L2 experimental claim is altered. Part of the CAL five-level (L0–L4) research agenda. See companion CAL pre-paper, concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20430343.
