A modular asymmetric copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) desymmetrization of prochiral dialkynyl2.2paracyclophanes (PCPs) is reported. This method efficiently delivers diversely functionalized, disubstituted PCPs in high yields with excellent enantioselectivity (up to 93% yield and >99% ee), incorporating terminal alkyne and triazole handles for further diversification. A pyrene-appended derivative demonstrates promising solid-state circularly polarized luminescence ( g lum = 2.7 × 10 –3 and Φ F = 0.59), highlighting its potential for chiral photonic material.
