Historical account outlines half a century of archaeological activities in Brittany, indicating significant research contributions.
In 2020 the Société d'Histoire et d'Archéologie de Bretagne (SHAB) celebrated its centenary but, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the formal events had to await the centennial Congrès in November 2021. By invitation of the President, Bruno Isbled, the two authors of this paper were asked to contribute an account of their activities in the region over half a century, and this, along with many other contributions, has now appeared in the two volumes of conference proceedings. A revised version of their account is presented in this paper.
