Investigates mechanical properties of concrete with egg shell powder and rice husk ash, suggesting sustainable cement alternatives.
This study investigates the use of Egg Shell Powder (ESP) and Rice Husk Ash (RHA) as partial replacements for cement in M20 concrete to promote sustainability. Compressive strength tests were conducted at 7 and 28 days. The results showed that 5% ESP and 7.5% RHA provided the optimum strength. The findings indicate that ESP and RHA can effectively reduce cement consumption while maintaining concrete performance.
