Geomagnetic survey identifies potential historic field boundaries at Hipsy Energy Storage Project site, indicating archaeological significance.
The geomagnetic survey was carried out using a Bartington Grad 601-2 dual gradiometer system which utilises two sensors set 1m apart. The survey was undertaken within a system of 30m by 30m grids which were delineated across the site using temporary grid markers. The grids were set out and recorded using a Trimble R10 with an accuracy of up to 0.10m. three low magnitude linear responses typical of archaeological origin and related to possible historic field boundaries
