Correction highlights inaccuracies in mutation references affecting pyrethroid resistance understanding.
Wang, P, Liu, Q, Wang, X, Sun, T, Liu, B, Wang, B et al., Point mutations in the voltage-gated sodium channel gene conferring pyrethroid resistance in China populations of the Dermanyssus gallinae. Pest Manag Sci 80: 4950-4958 (2024). https://doi.org/10.1002/ps.8223 In the third paragraph of the Discussion section, “In particular, the L925I mutation has been functionally confirmed in Xenopus oocytes47”. The citation for this statement, reference 47 titled “Multisociety Consensus Quality Improvement Revised Consensus Statement for Endovascular Therapy of Acute Ischemic Stroke” is incorrect. The correct reference should be the previously cited reference 44: “Mutations in DIIS5 and the DIIS4-S5 linker of Drosophila melanogaster sodium channel define binding domains for pyrethroids and DDT.” We apologize for this error.
