Dataset presents 28 years of GNSS observations revealing crustal deformation in SE Spain, indicating tectonic activity.
A unique dataset of GNSS observations from the SE Spain covering 28-years of campaign-style observations from 1997 to 2024 is presented. The data are compiled for the geologic study of Eastern Betic Tectonic Arc, where the calculated present-day crustal deformation field shows significant motions ranging from 0 to 2 mm/yr with a dominant NNW-SSE orientation with respect to stable Eurasia. The presented dataset is subdivided into 3 subsets, depending on the authorship. All the data are presented in a standard RINEX: The Receiver Independent Exchange Format, version 2.11. The data interpretation is provided in the accompanying research paper [ 1 ] and the data are deposited in Zenodo repository [ 2 ].
