Empirical test shows near-cancellation in zero-energy universe, suggesting implications for gravity and matter.
The current Paper 60 benchmark does not claim that the exact thermodynamic-limit proof of a zero-energy universe has already been completed inside QGEFT. It does show that the verified Monte Carlo engine now supports a direct Zero-Energy Observer with explicit positive matter and negative gravitational binding branches. After the symmetric-edge normalization fix, a validated `N=64` smoke run reaches `Ratio ≈ 0.00658`. In deeper size scans, aggressive rewiring pushes the residual ratio up to about `0.25` in the volumetric-transition regime, while gentle rewiring lowers the large-volume residual to `0.10302` at `N=128` and `0.06882` at `N=256`. The defensible conclusion is therefore that near-cancellation is real, but its quality depends strongly on geometric cooling and equilibration rather than following automatically from any arbitrary hot graph history.
