Conceptual framework explores AI's role in improving blockchain adoption among users, suggesting increased accessibility.
This paper originates from a simple observation: technological innovation often progresses faster than society's ability to adopt it. While blockchain technology has demonstrated significant potential in areas such as finance, digital identity, governance, and decentralised systems, mainstream adoption remains limited. The challenge may not lie solely in the technology itself, but also in the world's adoption capacity, the ability of individuals and institutions to understand, trust, and effectively use increasingly complex digital systems. This research explores whether Artificial Intelligence can serve as an adoption-enabling layer for blockchain technologies. The proposed AI-Mediated Blockchain Adoption (AMBA) Framework examines how AI-assisted interactions, explanations, and guidance mechanisms may reduce complexity, improve user understanding, and accelerate adoption among mainstream users. By combining insights from technology adoption theory, cognitive load theory, and emerging developments in artificial intelligence, the paper proposes a conceptual pathway through which AI may help bridge the gap between technological capability and societal readiness. The study contributes to ongoing discussions at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and FinTech, digital transformation, and technology adoption.
