We read with great interest the study by Abul et al1 evaluating the impact of bursal repair and intraoperative steroid injection on postoperative lateral trochanteric pain following total hip arthroplasty (THA). Postoperative lateral hip pain remains a clinically relevant issue that may influence patient-reported outcomes and overall satisfaction after arthroplasty. Cite this article as: Altun A, Başoluk BT.
