Tests an energy-harvesting system for self-powered industrial IoT sensors, indicating improved reliability.
As more and more people use IIoT devices, there is now an urgent need for a reliable way to make energy. This paper proposes an integrated Piezoelectric and Thermoelectric Energy Harvester system to supply energy to sensors that need to be self-sufficient. The system is very reliable and has a power density that is 35% higher than that of individual systems. Experiments on powering a wireless sensor node are used to test how well the system works.
