Explores the design and manufacturing of capacitive touch membranes using conductive materials, indicating advancements in electronic products.
An electronic hybrid polymer structure represents a product that combines polymeric materials with electronic properties—by incorporating conductive materials (metals or conductive polymers) or through the interaction with organic semiconductors. The core principle of capacitive sensing relies on detecting changes in capacitance when a conductive object, such as a human finger, interacts with a sensor surface. The original contribution in this work consists of designing a 3D capacitive touch membrane using special software in this field, taking into account the design of the part that I already have. The membrane will have capacitive buttons integrated in the foil and will command some DC engine forward and reverse by simply touching the button. In this paper will study the manufacturing capacitive touch membrane and a prototype similar to the real part will be obtained. To obtain the prototype, a transparent material is needed as support, and a conductive ink will be used to make the traces and the capacitive buttons. The resulting circuit can be connected to a battery and also to a DC engine that will work forward and reverse by simply touching the buttons.
