An mHealth-based smart management strategy improves disease knowledge, psychological well-being, and hemostasis time in anticoagulated cardiovascular patients compared to conventional care.
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness of a mobile health (mHealth)-based smart management strategy for reducing the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with cardiovascular disease undergoing anticoagulant therapy. METHOD: A retrospective observational study was conducted in a tertiary hospital, with patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy being allocated to conventional and smart groups. mHealth technology-based monitoring tools, standardized questionnaires for disease knowledge and self-assessment scales for anxiety and depression were used. RESULTS: Related to hemostasis and satisfaction with the nursing staff were evaluated using t-tests and chi-square tests; p-values <0.05 were considered significant. RESULTS: The mHealth-based smart management strategy showed a positive association with disease knowledge, a better psychological state, a shorter hemostasis time, and greater satisfaction with nursing care (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: A smart management strategy based on mHealth was associated with better clinical and psychological outcomes than the conventional guidance group.

Li et al. (2026) conducted an observational in Cardiovascular disease undergoing anticoagulant therapy. mHealth-based smart management strategy vs. Conventional guidance group was evaluated on Disease knowledge, psychological state, hemostasis time, and satisfaction with nursing care (p=<0.05). An mHealth-based smart management strategy was associated with better disease knowledge, psychological state, shorter hemostasis time, and greater nursing satisfaction (P < 0.05).
