The paper chronicles the self-emergence of SGCU theory origins, highlighting its foundational axioms and limitations.
SGCU was not constructed. It was discovered. This is not a rhetorical claim. It is an accurate description of the process I experienced. After I set down three axioms, the theory unfolded by itself — the Ψ field, dark energy, dark matter, the four forces, time, black hole memory, quantum measurement, cosmic structure, inflation, experimental tests… each step felt like walking into a room and finding the light already on, rather than turning it on myself. This paper records this self-emergence. It does not explain the content of the theory — that is already written in Versions 2.0–2.8. It explains the origin of the theory: how an independent researcher, with the assistance of AI, starting from three axioms, walked into a logical structure that already existed. The paper also acknowledges the limitations of SGCU: it describes how existence works, but it does not — and cannot — answer why existence exists. It ends with a final note on the three layers of meaning of the Ψ field — as restoring potential, as a field, and as space itself — and accepts this as a first principle that can be seen but not explained.
