Finds new congruences for overcubic partition triples using modular forms, suggesting deeper connections in number theory.
In 2024, Nayaka, Dharmendra and Mahesh Kumar introduced the restricted overcubic partition triple function bt̄(n) , which counts the overlined versions of cubic partition triples of a positive integer n. In this paper, we obtain several infinite families of congruences modulo 4 and 8 for bt̄(n) by employing standard tools from the theory of modular forms, including eta-products and Hecke operators. For example, aligned bt̄(32· 34α +2n+68· 34α +1)≡ 0 8 aligned for all nonnegative integers α and n.
