Theoretical framework proposes post-binary computation using probability fields and resonance, indicating transformative potential in information technology.
Collaptic Computing is a theoretical research framework for a possible post-binary direction in computation. Information is represented as continuous probability fields rather than discrete bits, and computation proceeds through resonance, attractor formation, and informational collapse. The framework is organized around a single constitutive relation, Σ = I · Ω², anchored to established results in stochastic dynamics, information geometry, and condensed-matter physics. Its core predictions are reproduced in simulation, and it is built on established physics. It does not yet include a physical prototype. The work is released for open discussion and long-term archival.
