Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine and metabolic disorder that affects women of reproductive age all over the world. Its prevalence is rising because of lifestyle changes like eating poorly, not exercising, and being stressed. Young women still don't know enough about PCOS, even though it has a big effect on their reproductive, metabolic, and mental health. Knowledge is very important for finding the condition early, getting help quickly, and managing it well. From a women's health point of view, this review wants to look at and compare how much college girls in rural and urban areas know about PCOS. A thorough literature review was performed utilizing electronic databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and Elsevier, encompassing studies published from 2015 to 2026.
