The Temporal Holography Principle (THP) proposes an operational replay-window viewof quantum observation. It does not replace standard quantum mechanics. Instead, it providesa complementary language in which interference, localization, delayed choice, quantumerasure, weak measurement, and decoherence are described as different regimes of temporalphase reconstruction. In THP, a system generates internal temporal phase structure, whilean observer accesses that structure through an external replay window. Interference appearswhen the replay window preserves temporal correlations. Localization appears whenthe replay window becomes too narrow, noisy, or context-specific to reconstruct those correlations.Version 1.2 aligns THP with the broader TIST/TIG synchronization programby introducing internal/external phase-time mismatch, the synchronization window Ξt, andan open-system density-matrix formulation. The central update is the connection betweenreplay and synchronization. A replay window is the observational aperture through whichtemporal information is reconstructed. A synchronization window is the domain in whichthe observer and system can maintain a stable enough phase relationship for that reconstructionto be meaningful. In this sense, observation is not merely “looking,” but a finite,context-dependent replay of accessible temporal information. THP v1.2 is intentionally conservative. It does not claim retrocausality, arbitrary past rewriting, or experimental proofof a final theory. Rather, it defines a falsifiable correlation-bandwidth operational framework:replay-window changes should produce detectable visibility changes, phase-transitionimprints, synchronization-domain deformation, or open-system replay degradation undercontrolled conditions.
