Evaluates the POLIFONS method's efficacy in legal drafting, suggesting improved accuracy through verification.
POLIFONS is an early-stage harvesting-and-drafting method for legal work. It borrows the multi-perspective questioning architecture of the STORM method and its successor Co-STORM, then replaces their web-based answering engine with a gate of verification to primary sources and final human judgment. The method maintains three separated roles — the machine as questioner, the primary source as answerer, and the jurist as decider — through two gates, and secures its reliability through five auditable invariants. Its distinctive contribution to law is nexus verification: testing the subsumption of norm to fact element by element, which general language-processing methods do not guard. This document is the canonical formulation of that method, framed within the field of AI-Based Jurimetrics (established 14 May 2026). An Indonesian-language canonical version is available and linked by DOI.
