Demonstrates practical AI services enhance research workflows, highlighting security and flexibility.
The AI services provided by GWDG offer researchers a flexible and secure platform for applying state-of-the-art artificial intelligence in practice. The portfolio includes a powerful chatbot with advanced features such as retrieval-augmented generation, tool integration, and MCP support, as well as services for speech transcription and image processing. All components are accessible through an intuitive web interface and can be seamlessly integrated into existing research workflows via an OpenAI-compatible API. Developed within the framework of the KISSKI project (AI Service Centre for Sensitive and Critical Infrastructures), these services are designed to meet high standards of data protection and security. This makes them particularly well suited for research projects involving sensitive data or critical application contexts. The talk will introduce the available services, highlight practical use cases, and invite researchers to explore how these AI tools can support and enhance their own work.
