Audit identifies gaps in inheritance and representation within a conceptual framework on lnI, indicating key structural issues.
This paper presents an internal audit of structural continuity within the E=mc ThoughtPrinciple series.Papers 6–8 established a conceptual framework in which lnI represented compressiondepth, Δ mediated transformations between compression and unrealized potential, andρᵢ represented unrealized structural pressure. Within this framework, increasing lnI wasassociated with a historical shift in the source of Δ generation from external to internalorigins.Paper 14 later introduced a dynamical formulation based on a two-variable system andthe regime indicatorR = ρᵢc / mηwithout explicit reference to lnI.The purpose of this paper is not to argue that lnI should be restored to Paper 14.Instead, it investigates why lnI appears to become invisible when the framework movesfrom the conceptual structure of Papers 6–8 to the dynamical formulation of Paper 14.The audit identifies two distinct categories of discontinuity: inheritance gaps andrepresentation gaps. The η issue is interpreted as a potential inheritance gap. The lnIissue is interpreted as a representation-gap hypothesis arising from a modelingframework that does not explicitly represent the historical dimension of Δ generationdescribed in Paper 6.
