Evaluates the accuracy of the SEOBNRE waveform model for black holes, suggesting improved detection capabilities for space-based detectors.
For both current ground-based gravitational wave detectors and space-based detectors under construction (LISA, Taiji, Tianqin), the matched filtering technique is a crucial method for gravitational wave detections. The quality of gravitational wave templates directly impacts the efficiency of detection. Based on the effective-one-body theory and numerical relativity simulations, we previously constructed waveform model for spin-precessing eccentric binary black hole coalescence SEOBNRE, which is important for both ground-based and space-based gravitational wave detections. In this paper, our focus is on discussing the accuracy of the SEOBNRE template. The results indicate that for the dominant (2,2) mode, the accuracy of the SEOBNRE model exceeds 95% for most cases relevant to space-based detectors.
