Using the Monte Carlo (MC) approach, the study aims to characterize the dynamic magnetic responses of the mixed-spin (3/2, 5/2) ferrimagnetic Ising model on the two-dimensional (2D) square-octagon lattice under a time-oscillating external magnetic field h(t). The variations in the dynamic order parameter, magnetic susceptibility, and phase diagram of the system are studied with respect to crystal field (D a , D b ), exchange coupling (J ab , J bb ), and the period τ and amplitude h 0 of the time-oscillating magnetic field. Moreover, under the selected parameters, the system exhibits compensation temperature (T comp ). Furthermore, dynamic hysteresis loops (DHLs) and instantaneous magnetization curves are plotted. This study lays a theoretical foundation for the extended theoretical research and realistic applications on the magnetic properties of the square-octagon lattice structure.
