Shows the emergence of baryon asymmetry in quantum gravity, implying a new understanding of CP violation.
We present a self-consistent framework in which the baryon asymmetry of the Universe emergesfrom the temporal nonlocality of quantum gravity. Starting from the Wheeler-DeWitt equation,we show that semiclassical expansion yields an emergent time parameter τ, whose renormalizationgroup flow on superspace generates a nonlocal memory kernel K(τ,τ′) through functional renormalization. The antisymmetric component K1 of this kernel simultaneously encodes: (i) the arrowof time, as a curvature on the two-dimensional (k,ℏ) theory space; (ii) effective CP violation, without fundamental CP-violating phases; (iii) entropy production, through a generalized H-theoremfor non-Markovian quantum fields. We derive a closed expression for the baryon-to-entropy ratioηB ∼F[K1] and establish a model-independent correlation between ηB, primordial non-GaussianityfNL, and the gravitational wave spectrum ΩGW. The theory predicts oscillatory non-Gaussianitywith fNL ∼ 10–100 and a characteristic suppression of the primordial GW spectrum at frequencies f ≲ Γ/(2π), both testable by CMB-S4 and space-based GW detectors. Our central resultis that matter-antimatter asymmetry is not an input but an infrared topological invariant of therenormalization group flow of time itself.
