This article examines cross-section selection for feeder cables, highlighting voltage regulation's crucial role in electrical systems.
This article examines the problems of selecting the cross-sections of wires and cable conductors for feeder cables that supply electricity to local consumers. It is shown that, in cases where the consumer’s electrical installation is equipped with a voltage regulator, this selection must be made taking into account the voltage regulation range of this device and the voltage static characteristics of the electrical load. Calculation examples are provided to confirm this requirement.
