Preprint presents Departure Calculus as a framework for understanding cosmological and quantum singularities, suggesting new models for these phenomena.
This preprint presents Nothing Is All You Need as a nested causal enclosure of the cosmological and quantum problem-field it addresses. The title's "Nothing" refers to the Zero Infinity, 0∞: a countably infinite balanced reference state from which departure becomes measurable. The paper treats 0∞ as equally fundamental with the Final Frontier, ff, because the reference state enables the boundary condition to operate without becoming a terminal singularity. The manuscript introduces Departure Calculus, a ternary enclosure notation, a minimal scale-and-depth dependent curvature ansatz, explicit falsification conditions for the ansatz, and recovery limits for General Relativity, Friedmann dynamics, and ordinary Schrödinger evolution. It reframes the Hubble tension, the vacuum energy catastrophe, gravitational singularities, and the quantum measurement boundary as signs that successful models have crossed the scale at which their boundary conditions were stated. The revised version includes a finite-enclosure vacuum mode-counting appendix in which paired zero-point departures compactify into adjacent scale structure, leaving a boundary-suppressed residual of order ρP(LP/LH)^2 rather than a freely gravitating volume sum. It also defines the jitterbug transition operator schematically, adds a concrete two-tier Hubble weighting proxy, comparative discussion, falsifiability criteria, and observational pathways involving JWST and other high-redshift datasets. The work is presented as a technical companion to Causality and Attraction: A Continuum of Steady States, especially Volumes I, IV, and V.
