Forecasts sector-disaggregated macroeconomic indicators for Tashkent, suggesting significant growth potential.
Tashkent, the capital and economic epicentre of Uzbekistan, has undergone a rapid structural transformation since the 2017 currency liberalisation reforms. The city's gross regional product (GRP) expanded more than twentyfold between 2010 and 2023, yet rigorous medium-term projections grounded in econometric methodology remain scarce in the regional literature. This study develops sector-disaggregated forecasts for eleven macroeconomic indicators through 2030, employing a gravity-power model (Y = a·tb) supplemented by Pearson correlation and OLS regression diagnostics.
