Draft genome sequence reveals antimicrobial resistance and virulence in a strain from a nurse's hand swab, suggesting hygiene concerns.
Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Staphylococcus haemolyticus strain MRSH_GSTU_NS23_BD isolated from a nurse’s hand swab. The genome is 2,421,936 bp in length and contains 2,377 CDSs, 56 tRNAs, and three rRNAs. It harbors nine and 15 predicted virulence factors and antimicrobial resistance genes, respectively.
