This investigation examines the relationship between bioelectric fields and morphogen activity, suggesting implications for development.
Here we investigate the relation between the NCA and MLP of the zygote kernel to the morphogen primordia stimulated by the electric field. A morphogen primordium is a recursive operator—the division, differentiation and motility heads under the telomere and Hox/Polycomb clocks and a field-side migration timer, crossed with the bioelectric field—whose execution reshapes the field so that daughter primordia nucleate, and which halts when the clocks exhaust. We also investigate tissue cavitation, essential for the creation of the sinuses, heart and gut.
