Real-world evidence analysis shows survival differences in uterine carcinosarcoma and serous carcinoma, highlighting prognosis implications.
Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in the United States, with mortality driven disproportionately by high-risk histologies, including uterine serous carcinoma (USC) and uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS). Early mortality differences between these subtypes remain poorly characterized. Conditional survival (CS), defined as the probability of surviving an additional period given survival to a predefined landmark, can provide clinically relevant prognostic information.
