Describes treatment patterns and recurrence management in advanced endometrial cancer in Chile, indicating barriers to immunotherapy access.
Disease recurrence remains common in advanced endometrial cancer (EC) and it is the primary mortality driver. The emergence of checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy has changed the treatment paradigm in recurrent and advanced disease. Whether these advances have translated into clinical practice in Chile is unknown. This study describes treatment patterns, recurrence rates, and post-recurrence management in a EC cohort at a Chilean academic centre.
