In this paper, we introduce the generalized Nochka weights for the family of hyperplanes in the projective space ℙ n (ℂ), defined via their generalized Nochka diagram and give an improvement of Cartan-Nochka's theorem for holomorphic mappings from the complex plane into ℙ n (ℂ) that intersect these hyperplanes.
