The paper investigates the thermoelastic responses of orthotropic circular plates under thermal loading, indicating complex material behavior over time.
The present paper investigates the behavior of an orthotropic circular plate subjected to axisymmetric thermal loading. The modified memory‐dependent Green‐Naghdi heat conduction model is adopted to analyze the thermoelastic responses. The analytical expressions for the field functions are derived using Hankel and Laplace transforms. The physical nature of the deformation and temperature distributions is determined by employing a discretized numerical inversion technique. The effects of the kernel functions in memory‐dependent derivatives are depicted graphically, and their salient features are discussed.
