Investigates vibration noise control in high-speed railway bridges, suggesting effective design methods.
In order to lightweight vibration noise control in high-speed railway bridge I-beam, a locally resonant metastructure with periodic embedding of acoustic black holes (ABHs) in the free damping layer (FLD) was proposed. A parameter analysis of the I-beam with embedded acoustic black holes in free layer damping (ABH-FLD) was conducted, investigating the influence of ABH radius, power exponent, FLD thickness, and depth ratio on the performance of the ABH-FLD. Subsequently, the response surface method (RSM) was used to fit the relationship between overall sound power level (SWL) and first-order natural frequency with the design variables. Taking overall SWL and material cost as optimization objectives, multi-objective optimization was carried out based on non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II), and the ideal design combination was obtained through multi attribute decision making method from the Pareto solution set. Finally, the optimization effect of the ideal design combination was validated, and the results showed a decrease of overall SWL by 5.84 dB compared to the initial design.
