Conceptual note proposes Index of Configurational Operational Closure to explain spectral instability.
This conceptual note proposes a hypothesis of extension between Stergios Pellis’s PFII spectral-operator framework and a relational ontology of persistence. It introduces the Index of Configurational Operational Closure (IFOC) as a conceptual auxiliary, not as a replacement for PFII, to describe the operational closure whose loss may be expressed by spectral instability in operator-modelable persistent regimes. The note was first shared privately with Stergios Pellis for critical reading before public circulation.
