The rapid spread of Industry 4.0 technologies has accelerated digital transformation (DT) efforts in the logistics and supply chain management (SCM) industry. Although digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data analytics, blockchain and the Internet of Things, have considerable potential to enhance efficiency, resilience and innovation, numerous logistics companies still struggle to convert digital investments into long-term strategic outcomes. Entrepreneurial orientation (EO), defined as innovativeness, proactiveness and risk-taking, has emerged as a strategically crucial posture that helps companies initiate and maintain digital transformation under volatile, asset-intensive and regulatory-pressured conditions. However, existing studies of EO and DT in logistics are still siloed, mostly linear in focus, without integrating the perspective of organisational feedback and learning. This research conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) to incorporate the empirical and conceptual findings regarding the dynamic relationship between EO and DT in the logistics and SCM industry. We borrow the PICOC framework to analyse the firms that operate in the logistics and SCM sector, and we determine entrepreneurial orientation to be a vital strategic antecedent. It further assesses the outcomes associated with digital transformation by situating them within the operational context and constraints of logistics activities.
