Pilot study assesses quality-of-life in refugees and migrants, highlighting administration challenges.
Skindex-16 was piloted among refugees, migrants, and other vulnerable populations in Malta and Lebanon. Although scores suggested a moderate to high skin-related quality-of-life burden, substantial challenges in administration were identified, particularly in contexts of psychosocial precarity. These findings indicate a need for further validation and contextual adaptation of quality-of-life instruments for displaced populations.
