This theoretical exploration demonstrates the origin of gravitational waves in spacetime, indicating a new understanding of energy dynamics.
General relativity describes gravitational waves as perturbations of the spacetime metric, yet it fails to account for their energy source and provide a clear explanation of how gravitational waves can escape the vicinity of black hole event horizons. Based on the framework of Time Physics, this paper proposes that gravitational waves are wave-like variations of the "time-storage energy" density distribution within the spacetime fluid. Gravitational energy released during violent events such as black hole mergers arises from fluctuations generated when spacetime ontology rearranges its time-storage energy structure. This interpretation draws a clear distinction between "motion of matter within spacetime" and "motion of spacetime itself", offering a concrete physical carrier for the generation and propagation mechanisms of gravitational waves.
