Copper-catalyzed method forms C–N bonds in oxadiazolones, indicating a practical synthetic strategy.
An efficient copper-catalyzed method for forming C–N bonds between oxadiazolones and boronic acids has been developed. Readily accessible aryl and vinylboronic acids serve as the coupling partners under mild conditions, enabling a wide substrate scope. This approach affords a variety of N -arylated and N -vinylated oxadiazolones under mild reaction conditions in a practical and cost-effective manner.
