Investigates immune cell types linked to prognosis in stomach adenocarcinoma, suggesting CD36 as a treatment target.
We aimed to investigate the potential significance of immune response in Stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD). We obtained 118 immune related DEGs, including 49 up-regulated and 69 down-regulated genes. The results showed that the high expression of CD36, GGT5 and DCN. The survival analysis found that M2 macrophages, resting mast cells and memory resting CD4 T cells were significantly related to the prognosis. IHC showed that CD36 had a higher expression level in the primary tumor, DCN was highly expressed in both tumor and paracancer tissues, however, GGT5 was not expressed in tumor tissue. CD36 may be possible targets for STAD diagnosis and treatment.
