Tutorial illustrates GTE's selection principle for identifying unique computational rules in physics, bridging two theories.
The Wolfram Physics Project seeks a fundamental computational rule that generates spacetime and matter. GTE (Generative Triple Evolution) provides what Wolfram Physics lacks: a selection principle that identifies the unique such rule from first principles, and machine-certifies it. This tutorial explains the bridge between the two programmes — how Rule 110 universality, the causal graph structure, and the MDL selection principle connect the Wolfram computational approach with the GTE derivation of the Standard Model. GTE shows that the polynomial p(L,C,R) = C + R - CR - LCR over GF(7), selected by Minimum Description Length, is the unique computational rule that generates the correct physics, closing the central gap in the Wolfram programme: which rule, and why.
