Study predicts K04 defects are pinned fossils, suggesting mobile halo dark matter is misclassified.
A Registered Null Prediction for K04 Defects: Pinned Fossils, Not Mobile Halo Dark Matter. Pre-registered null prediction from the finite-QEC substrate programme: K04 crystallisation defects are substrate-pinned fossils, not mobile halo dark matter. The canonical plaquette dynamics has no zero-barrier glide channel (cheapest advancing move 3 w6); the gravitational drive per lattice step is a(2 a0)/c^2 ~ 1.6e-42 and the present-day thermal-creep exponent 3 w6/T0 ~ 1e11-1e12, so neither gravity nor heat can depin the wall. Hence K04 defects do not comove with galaxies, form Bullet-cluster-like separated mass peaks, seed CDM subhalos, or drive a terrestrial defect wind; the mobile halo burden is reassigned to the zero-mode/R4/nu_R branch. Registered as a falsifiable null: future use of K04 as mobile halo dark matter is internally falsified unless an exact zero-barrier wall-translation primitive is first derived. Companion pre-registration JSON included in the repository.
