Why the study?
Intramyocardial calcification is a rare phenomenon often only discovered on postmortem.
Highlights a rare case of idiopathic caseous intracardiac calcification and proposes an investigatory template for future cases.
Answers are grounded in this paper and cite their sources.
Raises awareness of rare idiopathic calcification in differentials; leaves open prospective validation of proposed diagnostic framework.
Intramyocardial calcification is a rare phenomenon often only discovered on postmortem.
